Cynergy PT is comprised of qualified personal trainers with a different approach to fitness. Instead of pointless, never ending training sessions, we deliver clear cut training packages with a defined training period to achieve your fitness goals. Once you have achieved your goal, our work with you is complete. At which point, you can either devise a new fitness goal with us, or walk away happy that you have achieved the goal that was developed with you for you.
Cat Batson
Qualified from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in biological sciences, Cat applied this background towards a career of 15 years as an Environmental Consultant.
To help alleviate the pressures of the corporate world, Cat took up running when she was asked to compete as part of a company team in a local marathon. It was then through the commitment of training that she discovered how much she loved running.
When Cat moved to the UK, she was not authorized to work, so she spent her free time in training. She ran various races, and competed in adventure sports as well as endurance multi-sport events. Eventually people began to inquire about training advice, nutrition, etc., so by the time she was authorized to find work in her field of expertise, Cat had realized her passion for sport and fitness as well as helping others to achieve their fitness goals. Thus began the move to change careers. She used her background in biology as the foundation to build her Personal Training career upon and has not looked back since.

Gareth Batson
Originally a studio session musician, Gareth juggled that with a 16 year amateur boxing career. He began mountainbiking as an alternative to running as part of his boxing training. From there he progressed to road cycling and found his niche.
As a cyclist Gareth is always focused on what he can do to improve his technique, stamina and speed. It is because of this drive for improvement that people began to come to Gareth for cycling advice and as a result he became interested in coaching and helping others achieve their sporting and fitness targets.
